Consent for the Use of Data at www.ultimatenordic.no

When you use www.ultimatenordic.no, you give us at Ultimate Nordic access to information about you. In this privacy statement, we explain how we process personal data, what kind of personal data these processing activities involve, as well as their purpose and legal basis.

Which rules apply to the handling of personal data?

We do not store personal data longer and to a greater extent than is necessary to fulfill the purpose of the processing unless it is legally required, such as through the Accounting Act. We have extensive procedures for deletion, identification, and anonymization of personal data. You can request the removal of information yourself.

The main rule is that personal data is stored for a maximum of two years. How quickly information is deleted can vary. Here are some important examples:

  • As long as your account is active, we will take care of your personal data, advertisements, messages, and other information you register.
  • Information about usage patterns on www.ultimatenordic.no can live for up to three years in our analysis systems. Data here is used to find out if our services work well for the audience, and if the ongoing product development we do contributes to making the website better.
  • If you request data deletion, we will remove personal information. For reasons related to possible disputes, personal information will remain in our administrative systems for a time before the information is permanently deleted.

You also have in some contexts the opportunity to request that the processing of your personal data be stopped or limited. If you make use of this right, your information can only be processed based on consent from you or for certain other purposes directly stated in the Personal Data Act.   • Your right to get a copy of your data in a digital format (right to data portability). Under certain circumstances, you have the right to receive information that you have given us in a digital format, and also the right to have information transferred to another business if you wish this and it is technically possible and safe. This right only applies to information processed by automated methods and based on consent from you or processed as part of fulfilling an agreement with you. The right to data portability only includes information that you have given us, either directly through contact forms, for example, or generated through your use of our services. You can also request data portability by contacting us as specified further down.
    We would like to remind you that there are some exceptions from the rights we have described here. These exceptions follow from the legislation and may, for example, mean that access to certain information is not provided due to consideration for other people's rights and freedoms, or that certain personal data cannot be deleted because legal requirements or other considerations require a storage period.
